Our story
Two brothers, one shop in East Nashville
Nate and Luke Harper learned the trade the way their father did, framing houses on site rather than in an office. They started Ironwood Builders to build homes they would live in themselves.
The shop and showroom sit behind the brick warehouse in East Nashville. It is where the brothers work from, and where homeowners can come to talk through a project face to face.
The method has not changed much since the first frame: agree the scope, write the schedule, and stay on site with the owner until the last item is closed.
- Scope in writing
- Nothing starts until the list of materials and finishes is on paper and you have read it.
- The owner on site
- The person who priced your job is the person you deal with while it is built.
- One warranty, two parts
- Workmanship and structure are covered separately and named in the contract, so you know what each one covers.
